Tom Giesemann’s photography is restless, playful, yet focused and technically experimental. The artist from Neumünster never misses an opportunity to try out something new, only to turn it upside down in the same breath and make it appear in a different way. Whether analog, digital, exposed on paper, fabric or clay – the main thing is that all available possibilities are used before the next impulse creeps up from behind to call everything that has gone before into question.
