Berlin-based painter and musician Silke Thoss, alias Silky, approaches the classical art world with cheerful irony and develops her own themes and exhibition formats. Inspired by sign painting and advertising from the 1950s and 1960s, she builds kiosks, adapts everyday objects, and dismantles the traditional concept of art in the style of the Neue Wilde, Dada, or Fluxus. In September, Silky performed two shows in Hamburg. At Oberfett, you saw posters, display cases, and 3D objects. And, of course, we had a lot of fun.
