NEW CONCEPTS TAKE THEIR TIME
After 10 years and over a hundred exhibitions and events, it was time to ask ourselves: Are we still happy? Is what we have achieved so far enough? Are there other, new paths worth pursuing? There are many answers to these questions. One thing is certain: change is needed. Simply hanging pictures on the wall has never been the task of our cultural institution. We have always seen ourselves as a place of possibilities, and in this sense we are prepared to break with tradition and explore new opportunities. The first step: we have given up our premises. We have put the Oberfett Collection into storage. And we have taken time to reorient ourselves. In the meantime, we are exhibiting at other locations, working on new concepts for collaboration, and talking to a large number of people who share our view: something new is coming.
We ask for your patience until then. We are just transforming. Wait and see what will emerge soon.
