Why did Oberfett select only 3 artists from the 1,000 applications we’ve received over the past 10 years? How can artists find exhibition opportunities that truly suit their work? How do experienced curators guide applicants through the application process and selection procedures in practice?
We’ll be discussing these topics at lunchtime in late September at POSITION. Forum (a series of events organized by the Hamburg Professional Association of Visual Artists).
Mr. Pfaff will give a talk; gallery owners Lucia Kaufmann, Nina Mielcarczyk, and Jonathan Schneider will join him on the panel; and Hamburg-based artist Arne Lösekann will moderate.
The audience is expressly invited to contribute questions, experiences, and perspectives to the open discussion. Come out in large numbers—it’s going to be exciting.
